Senior Capstone - Ideal Bet

The Reason

IdealBet was developed as my senior capstone project. It was an idea to make sports analytics more transparent and accessible. We wanted to combine real-time betting data with predictive insights and creating a modern data driven platform for NBA fans and bettors.

The Process

I worked in a team of five that included a project manager, two developers, and a note taker. My main responsibility was the UX design and front-end layout.

I created wireframes and full mockups for every screen, focusing on hierarchy, contrast, and data clarity. I collaborated with developers to bring the designs to life, learning how design decisions translate into code.

The final product evolved slightly from my initial designs, but I provided feedback throughout development to keep the interface aligned with the intended flow. Our mentors noted that the design “looked like a professional, production ready product.”

The Result

IdealBet became a polished, functional prototype demonstrating how analytics can be presented clearly and intuitively. I learned to balance aesthetics with technical feasibility and gained experience working on a team that turned a concept into a full web application.
