Nice to meet you! I’m a new designer who recently discovered her passion for design. During my time at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I participated in multiple projects where I was responsible for overseeing UX/UI design. As a project lead, I had the opportunity to create wireframes, build prototypes, and conduct user interviews for UX research. Through this work, I’ve become proficient in tools such as Figma, InDesign, and PowerPoint. A lesser-known fact about me is that I was the first early college student at Cumberland Polytechnic to graduate with an associate degree in Information Technology.

Naturally curious, I’m always eager to learn new tools and information that will help me grow as a designer. In my free time, I enjoy reading, creating magazines, and scrapbooking. I’m currently reading The Hobbit, Sense and Sensibility, Don’t Make Me Think, and The Design of Everyday Things. I’m also a content creator on Instagram (@jas_small) and previously served as a social media ambassador for both Amazon Student Prime and Samsung.
